Backpacking
at Havasu Falls, Grand Canyon

Come view 200 ft. turquoise waterfalls and swim in the natural travertine pools. This canyon oasis is located at the western end of the Grand Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation. Your journey begins with an all day 10-mile hike down past the rustic Indian village and on to our campground. We will spend our layover days exploring the canyon, enjoying three waterfalls, and attempting to capture the perfect photo. A resident Havasupai will also give us an interpretive tour and talk in the village. Our group food and cooking gear will be transported by mule train to and from our campsite.

Price includes round trip van transportation from SDSU, two experienced backpacking leaders, group camping gear, group food, mules, and permits. Enrollment is limited to eight adults.
