Description:
Anza Borrego Mud Caves is one of the best kept secrets in Southern California . Awaiting our group of explorers, a series of underground passageways and caves, located in the center of the Carrizo Badlands, snake their way through hillsides and desolate washes. We will navigate the narrow tunnels by headlamp and candlelight continuing further into the desert and exiting in time to take in a magnificent Meteor shower, courtesy of a desert sky with almost no light pollution. The unique desert landscape and vegetation make for a mysterious and magical environment in which to camp.
